🥎MIDSUMMER MADNESS - 24 HOUR TENNISATHON 2025🥎
We did it!! On the longest day of the year, we completed our biggest ever challenge, playing tennis for 24 hours without a break. Dozens of players took to the courts throughout the 24 hour 'Tennisathon'- all to help raise funds which will go towards resurfacing the club courts and replacing the court fence.

Welcome to Bishop’s Castle Tennis Club!
A friendly, welcoming and inclusive club set in the beautiful Shropshire Hills, offering great value for players of all ages and abilities.
We are delighted to announce that Bishop's Castle Tennis Club has been granted charitable status. Registered charity number 1211728
For over 100 years, tennis has been played on our appropriately named Love Lane grounds, with their spectacular views of the south Shropshire hills, buzzards and red kites.
The courts are in a superb location adjacent to the A488 road, a short distance from the town centre. Car parking is available. It’s less than a 10-minute walk from town by public footpath.
We have 2 floodlit hard courts and an AstroTurf court which are played all year round.
The Club provides:
🎾FREE TENNIS 🎾 COME AND PLAY - EVERY SATURDAY THIS JULY!
We have several events and activities planned throughout 2025: some are exclusive to members and others are free and open to the community. Click here for more information.
We're offering free taster tennis sessions for adults every Saturday throughout July 2025.
Come down to our Club Play sessions between 10 am and midday and play tennis with us
Bring your own raquets or we have some you can borrow.
All abilities welcome - come and meet us and see if you'd like to be part of our friendly club
Join us for Club Play on Saturday July 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th, any time between 10-12

New members of any age and standard are always welcome and no previous playing experience is necessary.
