Price charges:
Prices are staying the same for 2025, so courts will still be charged at £6.30 per hour per court for Adults and £4.20 per court per hour for Juniors
Cancellation Policy:
Please refer to terms and conditions but in general:
- Please check your own availability and weather forecast before booking
- Full refund if you cancel12 hours before booking via booking platform
- Credit applied at the discretion of the council
Introduction
Blackheath is one of Greenwich's Green Flag Award-winning sites, in partnership with Lewisham Council.
The land north of the A2 road is managed by the Royal Borough of Greenwich and it has a large expanse of grassland, on relatively level ground. There are some undulating areas of gorse and scrub to the east of the heath near Vanbrugh Terrace.
There is a small pond at the junction of Charlton Way and Shooters Hill Road with a tea hut nearby.
In Chesterfield Walk there are 3 hard surface tennis courts which were fully refurbhished in February 2024
Free & paid parking is available on surrounding residential roads. Some roads require permits for certain time periods
Toilets are available at the entrance to Greenwich Park.
