New Tennis Memberships and Charges
Following the recent improvements to the courts, gates and court access the tennis courts are now open with the booking system operation in place.
To keep all the courts well maintained, there will be a low-cost hire fee at various times during the week and weekends (£3 per court per hour).
An annual household yearly pass is available to Royal Greenwich residents for £30, covering all courts at Altash Gardens, Bostall Gardens, Kidbrooke Green Park, Maryon Park and Plumstead Common.
Each week 30 per cent of park court time will be available free of charge. Any available free slots will be bookable online.
Courts can be booked up to 14 days in advance for members and 7 days in advance for ‘pay and play’.

Introduction
Altash Gardens is a small, pleasant park in Royal Greenwich. Facilities include a children's playground, an outdoor gym installed as part of the Royal Borough of Greenwich's Olympic legacy, a number of trees and grassland.
The four tarmac macadam tennis courts were fully refurbished in May 2024.
The council are seeking funding to develop the ball court area which joins the newly refurbished four tennis courts.
