Introduction

Welcome to Parks Tennis in Royal Greenwich

Thanks to the LTA and Government funding we have been able to upgrade the tennis facilities at 6 of our park sites.  Blackheath Chesterfield Walk, Bostall Gardens,Maryon Park and Plumstead Common are all open and available to book.

Altash Gardens and Kidbrooke Green Park  are currently closed for refurbishment works and will be available to book very soon.

In addition, we're excited to bring to you brand new gate access technology and an online booking system to improve your user experience anyone who wants to play.  Book a court and play!

All of the above named sites are LTA registered which means that they meet the LTA’s playing and safeguarding standards.

 

New Tennis Membership and Charges 

To keep all the courts well maintained, from 1 April there will be a low-cost hire fee at various times during the week and weekends (£3 per court per hour).  

An annual household yearly pass is available to Royal Greenwich residents for £30, covering all courts at Altash Gardens, Bostall Gardens, Kidbrooke Green Park, Maryon Park and Plumstead Common.  (Ecludes Blackheath Chesterfield Walk)

Individuals who receive 'means tested benefits' can apply for a free household yearly pass. Please see website for more information. 

Each week 30 per cent of park court time will be available free of charge. Any available free slots will be bookable online. 

Courts can be booked up to 14 days in advance for members and 7 days in advance for ‘pay and play’.  

 

Blackheath Chesterfield Walk Pay & Play

Traditionally a pay & play facility we have improved the facilities and will be keeping the pay and play offer.

Prices will rise in line with inflation on April 1st to: £6.40 per court per hour for adults, £4.20 per court per hour for juniors

Courts can be booked up to 14 day advanced booking, 1 booking, up to 2 hours per day
