Free Park Tennis
Why not sign up to free, social tennis sessions for all ages, every weekend, at Burgess Park. The session is delivered by qualified parks tennis activators who will help to facilitate play, run easy to follow activities and also provide all of the equipment and is open to all levels.
So why not get on court and give tennis a go by booking for a free session?

Introduction
The tennis courts are on the east side of the park.
There are 7 tennis courts, floodlights are on courts 1-6, court 7 doesn't has no floodlights.
There are toilets and cafe facilities on site.
Getting there
buses - Old Kent Road entrance 53, 63, 78,168, 172, 363, 453, Camberwell Road entrance 12, 35, 40, 45, 68, 468, Albany Road entrance 42, 343
car park - located at Albany Road; opening times 8am to 6pm
bike park - Chumleigh Gardens off Albany Road
If you have infrequent access to the internet you can visit your local library to book a tennis court on their computers. The nearest sites are:
- Brandon Library, Maddock Way, Cooks Road, SE17 3NH
- Camberwell Library, 48 Camberwell Green, SE5 7AL
If you don’t have internet access you can use a computer at a local library to book. If you can’t use the booking website / ClubSpark Booker app or visit a library, ring 020 7525 5000 for further help.
Membership/Concession
Southwark Council are committed to making sport accessible and affordable to everyone in the community, helping people of all ages and abilities enjoy the sport. We have a range of memberships/concessions that entitles the member to play tennis at discounted rates! Also, on offer is our junior membership which is available to individuals under 18 and will enable young people to book and play tennis for free.
