A whopping 19 representatives of Cotham Park Tennis Club went along to the Avon Tennis Big Night Out on 21 March 2026. The event was a warm celebration of all the good work taking place across the county and saw us bring home two awards.

As we previously announced, Cotham Park Tennis Club was named club of the year as part of the LTA County Awards. Pictured above are most of the Cotham Park contingent accepting the award alongside former Davis Cup player Danny Sapsford.

We also celebrated membership secretary Matt Whitworth, who was named an unsung hero as part of the Avon Tennis Awards. This is in recognition of everything he does to keep the club going, including welcoming in a healthy flow of new members. Matt follows in the footsteps of match secretary Simon Margetts, who won the same award two years ago.
