Guidelines for 2024 Club Championship matches

• For any given match, the player(s) listed first (i.e. above) will have responsibility for organising the match and shall offer their opponent(s) 3 dates. If none of the dates offered are accepted, the responsibility falls to the player(s) listed second. Please ensure that each round is played by the specified deadline date.

• Every match will be played as the best of three sets with a third set being decided by a Championship tie-break (first to 10 points). Note that on Finals Day, matches will be decided by a full third set.

• There has been no seeding for any of the competitions.

• In exceptional circumstances (e.g. due to a long-term injury), a player may change their chosen doubles partner but only in advance of their first match. Any change will be at the committee’s discretion and must be formally agreed.

• Please note that Finals Day is scheduled for Saturday 7th September (with Sunday 8th a reserve day in the event of poor weather).

• Please inform a member of the committee if you do not give permission for photos of yourself taken during the course of the championship to be used by the club e.g. on social media platforms.

• In the event of any issues arising, the committee decision is final.
