The winners of Cullercoats Tennis Club’s 2019 winter mixed doubles tournament have been decided.
After a hard-fought, close final, Emma Charlton and Ish Atchia beat Jaclyn Curry and David Nash to claim victory and win the Bottrill Winter Trophy.
This year’s finalists came through a series of rounds involving 13 couples played over the winter, often in challenging conditions due to bad weather.
