Cullercoats Tennis Club’s over 55s produced fireworks on court in the Atchison Trophy tournament.
The annual round robin mixed American event was played on Sunday 4 November.
The competition was played in a friendly manner with some closely-contested matches.
The winners were Sylvia Wilson and Jeff Thompson who beat Pat Bottrill and John James in a well-fought final.
The trophy was donated to the club by the Atchison family to celebrate Ken's 80th birthday with him presenting it to this year’s winners.
