Danson Park

Danson Park is home to 6 hard surface tennis courts, which have recently been refurbished thanks to funding through the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) Tennis Foundation and UK Government.

Danson Park itself offers a whole host of addditional leisure opportunities, from watersports through Danson Adventures to a wet and dry playpark and from trim trails to bowling greens. There are toilets by the playpark area and near to Danson House and there is ample parking on site, which is chargable at weekends from April to September inclusive.

Getting here

• On foot - the nearest pedestrian entrance to the tennis courts is at the junction of Danson Road and Park View Road (just opposite Crook Log Leisure Centre). They are also easily accessible by walking up the main drive to the park, either from Danson Road or from Danson Lane. 
• By car - there is a large well sign posted car park on site, which is accessed via Danson Road.
• By public trasnport - the B14 stops on Danson Road, right outside the main driveway to the park. The 89, 96, 486 and B16 all stop next to the pedestrian entrance at the junction of Danson Road and Park View Road (just opposite Crook Log Leisure Centre).
