Tennis for free!
Following the renovation works that have been carried out and while we are appointing a new tennis operator to manage this fantastic opportunity - the courts at Russell Park will be offered FREE OF CHARGE for a limited amount of time. Simply click on the 'Booking' tab to secure your slot.
Please note, this offer will only be for a limited period and (although free tennis will still be available at sites throughout the week), charges are being reintroduced so that income can be reinvested back into the courts to keep them at a good standard and safeguard their long-term future.
Introduction
Russell Park is home to 6 hard surface tennis courts which have recently been refurbished thanks to funding through the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) Tennis Foundation and UK Government .
Russell Park also offers a children's playground and two bowling greens (run by a local consortium).
Getting here
- By car - there is limited on street parking on Woolwich Road, which is just 100m walk from the tennis courts.
- By public transport - the closest bus stop is on Woolwich Road where the 301 and 401 buses both stop.
