Coming soon - tennis for free!
Once renovation works have been completed, the courts will be offered free of charge for a limited amount of time.
Following this charges will be reintroduced so that income can be reinvested back into the courts to keep them at a good standard and safeguard their long-term future (although free tennis will still be available at certain times throughout the week).
Introduction
West Heath Recreation Ground is home to 3 hard surface tennis courts which are being refurbished thanks to funding through the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) Tennis Foundation and UK Government.
West Heath Recreation Ground also offers the opportunity for a range of leisure activities, also playing host to a basketball court, play park and community bowls club.
Getting here
- On foot - West Heath Recraetion Ground is most easily accessed on foot, either by Clovelly Road or via Heath Avenue
- By car - there is extremely limited on street parking on site
- By public trasnport - the 422 bus stops on King Harolds Way, around a 500m walk away from the site
