Welcome to Sidcup Place

Tennis for free!

Following the renovation works that have been carried out and while we are appointing a new tennis operator to manage this fantastic opportunity - the courts at Sidcup Place  will be offered FREE OF CHARGE for a limited amount of time. Simply click on the 'Booking' tab to secure your slot.

Please note, this offer will only be for a limited period and (although free tennis will still be available at sites throughout the week), charges are being reintroduced so that income can be reinvested back into the courts to keep them at a good standard and safeguard their long-term future.

Introduction

Sidcup Place is home to four tennis courts, of which two have recently been refurbished thanks to funding through the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) Tennis Foundation and UK Government.

Sidcup Place is an area of green space overlooked by the historic building of the same name, originally built in 1743 but now a popular pub and restaurant. The grounds also include a secluded walled garden that is tended to by volunteers.

Getting here

  • By car - there are both paid for and free car parks on site
  • By public trasnport - Chislehurst Road which runs alongside Sidcup Place tennis courts is serviced by 160, 229, 269, 286, 625, B14 and R11 buses
