PADEL COACHING
We are pleased to launch the first phase of our padel coaching programme with our new padel coach, Nick Wood.
Until 20th November, 2025: Group coaching sessions are available as follows:
Thursday 10am-11am Introduction to Padel (1-hour sessions - £10 members, £15 non-members)
Thursday 11am-12pm Padel 4 Beginners (1-hour sessions - £15 members, £20 non-members)
Thursday 7pm-8pm Padel 4 Beginners (1-hour sessions - £15 members, £20 non-members)
Thursday 8pm-9pm Padel 4 Improvers (1-hour sessions - £15 members, £20 non-members)
Sunday 6pm - 7pm Introduction to Padel (1-hour sessions - £10 members, £15 non-members)
NEW Sunday 7pm- 8pm Padel 4 Beginners (1-hour sessions - £15 members, £20 non-members)
From 20th November, 2025
From November 20th, we will move to a new coaching format for Beginner and Improver sessions. Lessons will be offered in a block of 4, with each lesson focusing on different skills and strategies. The hour-long lessons will be held on 1 court, with a maximum of 6 participants. The price will remain the same, £60 for a block of 4 lessons for members, £80 for non-members.

New – Junior Coaching Block
We are also introducing a new Junior Coaching block, starting Thursday 20th November from 6pm – 7pm. This is open to 10- to 18-year-olds, and will also be held on one court, with a maximum of 6 players. The block price will be £50 for members (£12.50 per week) and £60 for non-members (£15 per week). Thursday Morning Lessons Suspended for Winter
The Thursday 10-11am Introduction to Padel sessions and the 11-12pm Padel 4 Beginners sessions have been suspended until Spring.
Introduction to Padel Sessions
Our Introduction to Padel sessions, which are designed as one-off sessions that explain the game and rules of padel, will continue in their current format and at the same time, Sunday 6pm – 7pm. Note that the Thursday morning Introduction session at 10am has been suspended for the winter season. Book here.
Please note that Padel 4 Beginners lessons are aimed at players who have an understanding of how to play the game of padel, or who have already attended one of the Introduction to Padel lessons. Nick is also available for private coaching, and can be contacted on padelcoaching@hazlemeretennis.co.uk with any enquiries about the above courses or private lessons. If a course is full please email Nick to be put on a waiting list.
SOCIAL MIX-IN SESSIONS
Open for booking for members and non-members. Minimum requirement is to be able to rally in a socially competitive environment.
1-hour sessions with a maximum of 8 players across 2 courts. £5 a session for members £7.50 a session for non members.
Members and Non Members Mondays 6pm to 7pm Members and Non Members Mondays 7pm to 8pm
Members and Non members Mondays 8pm to 9pm
90 minute sessions with a maximum of 10 players across 2 courts. £5 a session for members £7.50 a session for non members .

WhatsApp Groups
We have several WhatsApp groups set up . A general updates one with events, new social sessions and coaching developments. And 3 ' Find a Game ' groups, Social, Intermediate and Competitive. If you would like to join one or more please email Jordan on padel@hazlemeretennis.co.uk
The courts are situated behind the tennis courts and Memorial Hall on the right. There is parking available. Entry is via a smartgate using the code included in the booking acceptance email.
BOOKING COURTS
Padel is available to both HT&PC members and non-members and must be booked on this website or on the ClubSpark Booker App on Google Play or Apple AppStore.
Note that non-members will be directed to create a Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) account in order to book courts. There is no charge for this.
Padel raquets and balls provided for use in the bench seats. Please respect this and return after play.
Booking costs (per hour)
- £20 per court for all members of HT&PC players
- An additional £2.50 per non-member playing with a member on a member booking
- £30 per court for non-members
Floodlights are automatically added for later bookings at £4 per hour.
Cancellations can be made on the App or website up to 1 hour before your booked padel session, and you will receive a refund of the booking fee. Cancellations within 1 hour will not be refunded unless we close the courts.
