Hazlemere Padel League – Rules & Format
Welcome to the Hazlemere Padel League! A fun, social way to get more games in, meet new players, and add a bit of healthy competition to your week.
How to Join
Click here to complete your online registration form.
League Format
● Each division has 4 players.
● You’ll play 3 sets each round, partnering with a different player every set.
● That means you’ll play with and against everyone in your group.
● You keep your own score – we track individual games won, not team results.
Scoring
● Normal padel scoring applies, first to 6 games wins the set - no need to win by 2
● No tiebreaks are played
● Add up your total games won across all 3 sets.
● Example: ○ Set 1 (with B vs C & D): 6–4 → 6 games
○ Set 2 (with C vs B & D): 4–6 → 4 games
○ Set 3 (with D vs B & C): 6–2 → 6 games Total = 16 games won
Ranking & Movement
● Players are ranked by total games won.
● If there’s a tie:
○ Most sets won
○ Fewest games lost
○ Coin toss if still tied
● After each round Top player moves up a division, Bottom player moves down, Middle two stay put
● Adjustments may happen if new players join or someone drops out.
Rounds & Scheduling
● Each round lasts 3 weeks.
● You and your group arrange your matches at a time that suits everyone.
● Court fees are based on membership and non membership status.
So for a 90 minute booking with 2 members and 2 nonmembers , the members pay £7.50 each and the non members £11.25 each
● If someone can’t play, they simply score zero games for that round — no penalties.
Reporting Results
