Heworth Tennis Club

Club Coach - The Club's LTA insurance requires that coaches have to be LTA registered, and then registered and linked to Heworth Tennis Club for both the Club's insurance and the Coach's insurance to be valid.

The Club's LTA Level 3 registered coach is Duncan Bradshaw. Duncan is available for private one to one coaching by arrangement, please contact Duncan at duncan.bradshaw@yahoo.co.uk or 07415 694338 for further information. 

Junior sessions - available for junior member players aged 5 to 16 years.  Sessions are as follows:

Tuesdays - 6pm (full ball 12+ years)

Wednesdays - 5pm (green ball 9-12 years), 6pm (full ball 12+ yrs)

Fridays - 4pm (red & orange ball 5-9 years), 5pm (green ball 9-12 years), 6pm (full ball 12+ yrs)

Please note the ages are a rough guide, as the level of playing experience is as important as age, the coach will be able to advise which session to start with.

Courses run as blocks paralell to school half terms.

Payment & booking: Courses are only available to be booked prior to blocks starting and have to be booked as a block. This is so there is continuity of numbers and the mix and level of players can be adjusted accordingly. There is a different price structure for Junior members and non-members with members being heavily discounted. Please keep scrolling down this page to book (if no sessions show this is because the block is part way through; the next block will be available to book once the current block ends).

Holiday camps: these are available during the summer more information will be provided nearer the time.
