Horsenden Lawn Tennis Club was founded in 1939 and is located in Windsor Playing Fields. Situated together with the local football and cricket clubs, Horsenden is considered one of the premier tennis venues in the area with first class facilities.
Windsor Playing Fields is in an attractive rural location in Horsenden Lane, just a short distance from the railway station and town of Princes Risborough.
We have 4 Tiger Turf Advantage Pro courts. Each court is floodlit with state of the art LED technology and additional facilities include a club house with kitchen and toilets, as well as a practice wall and adequate free parking on site. The Club has no time restrictions on floodlight use, so play can continue late into the evening if required.
We are a friendly, local club welcoming players of all abilities from beginners to local league players. Ages range from juniors of 4 years old up to pensioners of 80+. The club has around 200 members who are able to enjoy social tennis, club sessions, tournaments, league matches and coaching.
As an LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) affiliated club, Horsenden's aim is to be a sociable and friendly place for those who enjoy their tennis. We see ourselves as the first choice for any tennis players who move into the area, as well as for those wanting to dust off their racquets and get started again! Horsenden has a thriving active membership, numbers are not currently restricted and we welcome new members at any level.
We always welcome new members of any standard to join our friendly club.
