Social Tennis
JUST PLAY !
For new and existing members, there are plenty of opportunities to play social tennis and meet new people at the same time. Club sessions are open to all and places can be booked via our WhatsApp groups. Prospective members are very welcome by prior arrangement on Tuesdays - come and try a club night for free ! (But please contact Mark Airey at tennisacesltd@gmail.com first).
KTC has the following available :
Anytime Social: We have thriving WhatsApp groups where members can arrange doubles and singles games. Members can book a court and play as often as they wish (subject to court availability) – courts are free of charge for club members. Contact Mark Airey to be added to the Social WhatsApp groups.
Monday Evenings: A session for lady team players - run by the Ladies' Captain with help from volunteers. Play starts at 6.30pm for around 90 minutes. Any members who are interested in these sessions should contact ladies.captain@knutsfordtennisclub.org.uk in the first instance.
Tuesday - Members Club Night: Our coach, Mark Airey, organises Tuesday Club nights. Play starts at 7pm and continues until 9pm. Contact Mark to be added to the Clubnight WhatsApp group or if you are interested in a trial session. A shout out is sent on Sundays with confirmation of who's playing on Monday evening.
Wednesday Evenings: A session for men who enjoy a good standard of competitive tennis - run by the Men's Captain. Play starts at 6.30/7pm for around two hours and members who are interested in these sessions should contact mens.captain@knutsfordtennisclub.org.uk or coach Mark in the first instance.
Thursday - Members Club Night: A members organised Thursday Club Night - a little less competitive than Tuesday Club night. Play starts at 6.30pm for 90 minutes. A shout out goes out on Tuesday evening for interested players, confirmation of who's playing on Wednesday evening. Max 12 slots subject to court availability. Members should contact Mark Airey to be added to the Thursday night WhatsApp group.
