The roles of Secretary and Social Media Co-ordinator will be vacant as Claire and Katie are standing down. These are vital roles within the club and are essential to the running of it. We are aware that many new members have joined in the last couple of years and hope that some may wish to become more involved in the continuing growth and development of the Club. Role descriptions are below and if you are interested, please contact a committee member who will happily discuss further details or answer your questions.
Secretary
- Prepare and send out Agendas for AGM and Committee Meetings
- Take minutes of AGM and Committee Meetings and forward to appropriate parties
- Point of contact for correspondence
- Renew annual Venue Registration with LTA
- Complete Risk Assessment for the Venue Registration
- Assist with club events as required
Social Media Co-ordinator
- Social Media - Instagram / Facebook updates for events and club related matters
- Reply to enquiries for new members on social media platforms
- Create different ways to fundraise and interact with members
- Merchandise - aim for 2026 to get LBTC merc for members (finding supplier / ordering /choosing what is on offer /pricing)
- Assist with club events as required
