Former Lisvane Tennis Club player James Story looks forward to 2025 as Wales Number 1 and a career best ranking of 782 in the World.

The 23 year old who attended Llanishen High School before heading off to the University of South Carolina developed his tennis in Cardiff at Lisvane Tennis Club, David Lloyd and at UWIC/Cardiff Met.

He appeared in Junior Wimbledon in 2018 when he reached the semi finals of the doubles and in 2019

James is  hopeful his form could help him return to Wimbledon for next summer's Championships, courtesy of a wildcard.

All the club's members wish James every success in 2025 and look forward to seeing him climbing the rankings.
