An Update on Junior Coaching from the Club Coach Tony
Dear Players/Parents,
Firstly, thank you all so much for sending your children to us for coaching, it is really appreciated! We have a lovely bunch of children at the Club and a huge well done to the parents too, this term over a quarter had a 100% attendance record at tennis with the class average being 80%. This is fantastic!
Anyway, all group coaching classes have now finished for Winter, they will return in the Spring. You will all be invited to renew your child’s place by email in January. If there is no change in the class time or class structure, you will only need to pay subs to renew. If there is a class change, you will have to rebook again but please be assured existing class members get priority. We won't have any information about changes until January.
For the Winter, we now move over to individual or small group private lessons. Private winter lessons (on dry mild days only) are the ideal time to learn a new shot, tidy up your technique, catch up on any missed lessons or get ahead with your game ready for next Spring. Please email to ask for full details and our Winter discount card.
Several of the children have expressed a keen interest in joining our ever growing Internal Box League. Did you know we have the largest Junior Box Leagues in Wales and they are FREE* of charge and part of the Lisvane Coaching Programme. Please email for more details.
Finally, and to reiterate, it’s only group lessons that finish for the Winter. The Club is open for members to play 365 days of the year, including Christmas Day. Your children ought to be making the most of the Club and get up there to practice what they’ve been taught. In addition, we are also available for all other tennis services; racket repairs/re-string, individual lessons, ball machine sessions, general hitting sessions (with the coach) or any tennis advice needed.
