Many of our members will be both shocked and saddened to hear news of the passing of Simon Stokes who has been such a key member of the club over many years. Simon has been a part of the fabric of the club and not only been a committee member but supported the club in variety of ways. A fuller tribute will follow but our condolences go to Carole, their daughter Emma with partner Luke who are all members of the club and the rest of the family at this sad time.

Simon is pictured above presenting trophies to Rebecca Saunders-Nash and James Symons-Hicks who had just won the Mixed Doubles in the Club Championships. Simon was a keen supporter of the Junior Programme at the club and was delighted to see so many younger members develop their tennis skills.
