A Message from the Chairman

Thank you  for finding the Liversedge Tennis Club page.

Liversedge Tennis Club celebrated its 125th birthday in 2020 after being founded in 1895 and has developed on the same land to include two floodlit and two non-floodlit courts. All four courts are astroturf and two of the courts were recently re-laid with the latest surface technology

The Club prides itself on its warm and friendly atmosphere where players of all standards are welcome. Saturday social tennis (between 1:30 and 4:30 pm) is an ideal opportunity for new players to come down, meet the members and enjoy tennis is a non-competitive environment.

The Club currently employs Elena Zagrebina as Head Coach who is available for both Group and private coaching for children and adults alike. Elena has over twenty years working as a tennis coach and has coached in both her native Russia and Dubai before arriving in Liversedge.

The Club has two men's teams in the Huddersfield League which plays on a Tuesday night in Summer. The teams are currently in Divisions 1 and 3. The Club also has two men's teams in the Calderdale League which plays on  a Thursday night in the summer and the teams are currently in Divisions 1 and 4.
