Court Lighting Consultation
Redbourn is one of the only local tennis tennis clubs that does not have court lighting allowing evening play in spring, autumn and winter. New technology via LED lighting has transformed the light spillage and energy consumption form court lighting and very recent developments have added further options that don't require high pylons. RTC plans to launch a consultation with stakeholders shortly to gain feedback on these options and to consider then how to take these plans forward. To see the lighting options click here
A warm welcome to our club
Welcome to the RTC website. Here you can join our club, book courts and coaching and find out about what the club is up to .
We are LTA affiliated and have 4 courts and a club house, situated on the north edge of the common to the right of the Methodist Church (see directions below). We offer regular social mix-ins, interclub and local club tournaments, various league matches and a range of coaching sessions, whatever your standard of play. We are especially pleased to welcome new members and if you haven't yet received a copy of your welcome letter, you can download a copy here. We are delighted to let you know that two of our courts have just been resurfaced to the very latest Tiger Turf Advantage Pro surface and our other two courts will be resurfaced in October this year!
