There are floodlights on courts 2, 3 and 4 (court 1 is nearest the Clubhouse). These can be operated from 3 pm and switch off automatically at 9 pm. Please note that your membership subscription does not include play under floodlights.

The lights are switched on using tokens that are inserted into the meters sited in the Clubhouse, which you will be shown during your induction session. There is a separate meter for each court. The cost of running a floodlit court is currently £5 per hour though this is subject to change. Each token allows 30 minutes of play. The floodlights come on instantaneously and don’t need time to warm up!

If you wish to play under floodlights you will need to purchase tokens from our Treasurer, Pat Powell, in advance of the session. Payment can be either by bank transfer or in cash. 

If the floodlights are required during a Sheffield and District LTA league match, the cost is covered via your match fees. However, a fee for floodlightsis charged for group social and match practice sessions.
