We’re lucky to have some fantastic players at our club, and many of them are generously sharing their time and experience by captaining teams in this year’s Tennis Shropshire Summer Doubles League.

The competition begins in April and runs through to the end of August, with matches taking place across the county. It brings together most—if not all—tennis clubs in Shropshire and involves hundreds of players throughout the season.

Last year, in 2025, SLTC enjoyed its most successful season to date, delivering impressive results across multiple divisions. With preparations already well underway for this year’s campaign, excitement is building both on and off the court.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be going courtside with each of our team captains for a quick chat—shining a spotlight on them and their teams so you can get to know them a little better and hear what they’re looking forward to this season.
