There was fantastic news for the club this weekend (22-23 March 2026), as two of our juniors, Tom Standish and Harry Wyke, proudly represented Tennis Shropshire in the U18 County Cup.

Competing in a highly competitive event, Tennis Shropshire delivered an outstanding performance, securing two hard-fought victories. They edged past Northumberland 5–4 in a thrilling encounter that went down to the final match, before following up with an impressive 6–3 win over North Wales. Both ties showcased the team’s resilience, composure, and ability to perform under pressure.

Tom and Harry’s performances played a key role in a superb collective effort, with Tennis Shropshire crowned County Cup group winners and earning well-deserved promotion.
