Shrewsbury Lawn Tennis Club (SLTC) is delighted to welcome club member Lisa Hallam to its committee. Lisa was appointed at the AGM on 22 November 2025 and will be taking on the role of looking after the clubhouse and its facilities.

Chair Jeremy Johnston, along with the rest of the committee and club members, gave thanks and warmly welcomed Lisa on board.  Lisa said:

“I’m excited to be joining the committee and to get involved in running such a fantastic club.  I’ve loved being part of the Shrewsbury Lawn Tennis Club community since 2021, and stepping forward for this role felt like a great opportunity to help the club continue to thrive.”

Lisa, a GP living and working in Shrewsbury, added:

“I’m looking forward to getting to know more members, offering a fresh perspective within the committee, and working closely with the existing team to support the club’s continued growth and success.”

Lisa joins an energetic committee that has helped transform SLTC in recent years—growing membership to record levels, improving facilities, and hosting standout events, including this year’s County Championships.
