Our club has a tennis coach, with our LTA level 3 Coach, Colin Byers an active member of the club as well as offering coaching, racquet stringing and equipment advice.

Adult Coaching

Various adult coaching sessions are available weekly - all members are welcome to join any sessions

• Rusty Racquets / Improvers - Sunday mornings 11am-12noon (moves to pm on match days)
• Doubles tactics and drills -  Saturdays 12noon-1pm focusing on doubles formations and tactics

All sessions cost £10 each per session. Members can request private single or group sessions. Contact Colin direct.

Team Coaching:  Club funded Team coaching dates for 2025 (to be confirmed):

Ladies: usually 3 Thursdays in the summer season

Mens:  usually 3 Thursdays in the summer season

Mixed: usually 3 Thursdays in the summer season

Other Club Funded coaching includes:

Rusty Racquets:  3 dates in the summer season

General Member Sessions:  3 dates in the summer season

Junior Coaching

Juniors attending club coaching are required to be Junior members first. This costs £27.50 per year and Parents can enroll them online via the Join Us page.

Junior coaching sessions run by our coaches on Tuesdays 5-6pm (Yellow Ball)  and Thursdays 5-6pm (Orange Ball) plus  Sunday 3-4pm  - all age groups. From October till March the  Tuesday and Thursday sessions move to Woodford Park, Woodley

All sessions cost £10 each (or prepay £50 for 6 sessions)

Junior coaching School Holiday Tennis Camps with coaching, covering improving play, working on technique, fun games and match play.
