A mid february (rare dry) morning saw 12 members join together to prepare the club facitlies for the upcoming spring.

The primary task was to add grid plastic sheets to increase the area where cars can park adjacent to the new driveway, which will eventually see grass growing through. Assuming this grid method is successful in the soft ground, next autumn further grid parking will be added to the area just beyond the gravel turning area, to enable 4 or 5 more cars to park when the grass area near the clubhouse is unusable in winter. This would increase parking capacity to around 12 cars, which should be sufficient for a 3-court club.

In addition, the group cleared weeds and edging around the club's paths, cut back overhanging branches and cleared the area behind the clubhouse.
