The visit of LTA president David Rawlinson to our new courts made the front page of The Cornishman on September 23, a week after the paper carried the news of the opening of our new synthetic clay courts.
A week later we had the big picture on the back page with the teams lining up for our first match - against Penzance - on the new courts.
Our story on the campaign against the government's decision to ban healthy outdoor sports during the second lockdown - which provoked club chairman Chris Martin into writing to an MP for the first time in his life - resulted in another back page lead in The Cornishman in November.
