Coronavirus-related delays meant that we had to wait longer than originally anticipated for our new synthetic clay courts.
Delivery of the specialist infill sand from Holland was delayed and, to get us back on court, contractors Courtstall came and painted temporary white lines on the new tarmac base they had laid as a foundation for our new courts.
Tennis balls soon took on a darker shade - but the omens were good as the bounce was definitely better!
