WELCOME!

If you're thinking of taking up tennis for yourself or your child there's no better place to start. Our friendly fully qualified and safeguarded LTA accredited coaches will provide the tuition needed to fall in love with this fantastic sport. We offer great value coaching across all ages from 3 years up and from beginner to advanced. Whether you're looking for weekly after school tennis or holiday camps for your kids, or you'd like to learn some new skills and make friends along the way, we have EVERYTHING in tennis you're looking for.

For the ADULTS we offer coaching sessions Monday-Thursday and Saturdays for beginners and intermediates. These groups are small (8 players max) so you get plenty of attention from your coach who will adapt the standard and content according to the level you are playing at. There will always be drills, points and games.

We keep our ratios small to guarantee better learning and we're proud to boast one of the strongest JUNIORS tennis programme coaching programmes in the South West of England - for our stronger players we provide strength and conditioning from the age of 6, internal and external matchplay through league teams in all age groups along with tournament support, internal matchplay squads (so we can hone our player's tactical play and decision making) and plenty more to give children the opportunity to excel in tennis.

We currently have 17 players in the Avon county performance squads and 6 in LTA SW regional squads.

Toby Huddlestone is head coach at Almondsbury and Bradley Stoke Tennis Club and Olveston and Tockingon Tennis Club. He is a Level 3 LTA accredited+ coach with extensive experience and expertise of all levels of coaching - adults and juniors.

NEW COACH!

EMMA NICHOLLS - SENIOR COACH - LTA Level 3 accredited

Emma is a fully qualified and accredited LTA Level 3 coach local to the area with experience of all levels of juniors and adults. She is an enthusiastic coach and a high quality player enjoying success in her junior days:

"I began playing tennis at the age of 7 years old playing short tennis. The first short tennis tournament I entered I competed against boys and girls which I ended up winning.
From there I became number 1 in Britain from the ages of 10-14, and I enjoyed a successful junior career representing Avon County, playing nationally and representing Great Britain internationally."

Emma then went on to travel solo around Europe playing in France, Belgium and Israel before injury took her out of the sport for a few years. She reignited her passion for tennis by becoming a coach and recently completed her level 3 qualification. 

Emma's favourite player is Andy Murray and her favourite shot is her forehand. She loves being a tennis coach because she gets to meet lots of new people and by teaching them gets to see them really enjoy tennis!

We're so excited to have Emma onboard not only for her energy on court and playing standard but also to welcome a female coach into our programme. We have lots of girls enjoying tennis with us so I'm sure she'll connect with them in a special way and encourage them to improve and believe in themselves.
