Membership
- Membership is valid for one year from the date of joining. Upon joining or renewing, all members must either pay the full annual fee according to their membership category or elect to pay in monthly instalments.
- Pay to Play Membership must be renewed each year. All family members who wish to Pay and Play should be included in the Pay and Play membership.
- Each year a membership renewal email will be sent to all members who are requested to pay promptly. Members who have not paid renewal fees within thirty days of the due date, will be deemed to have lapsed their membership and will not be entitled to use the Club facilities, enter club competitions or represent the club in any competition.
- Members details will NOT be shared with any other party
- Members are assumed to give consent for photographs of themselves/their children being used in club communications and social media unless the Club is notified to the contrary. Club photography policy is in line with LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) guidelines and is available in the Policy section of the website.
- All members over 12yrs who have opted in on the LTA website and are affiliated to Winchcombe Tennis Club, are entitled to take part in the annual club Wimbledon ticket ballot.
- All members agree as a condition of membership to adhere to club rules and the various codes of conduct to which the club has committed. These include codes and policies relating to the expected behaviour of parents/guardians and children, safeguarding, diversity and inclusion and health and safety. These can be found in the Policy section of the website. Any member failing to act in accordance with these codes/policies may be challenged as regards their conduct and may be asked to leave the court or club premises. Continual refusal to abide by the rules, codes and policies may result in withdrawal of membership.
- Joining and membership renewals are all online via the ClubSpark system. Members are requested to check their details and amend if required upon renewal.
- Members may bring a guest uo tp 2 times free of charge. After that guests must join as members.
- The primary means of communication is by email. Members are requested to modify their account details if their email or mobile number changes
- The club takes no responsibility for unsupervised juniors outside of normal coaching or club playing sessions.
- All play must be finished by 10pm.
- Only tennis must be played on the courts. Any other activity is forbidden.
- Appropriate sports clothing must be worn at all times (i.e. correct non-slip, non-marking footwear and tops worn at all times).
- Playing tennis carries inherent risks. You accept these risks and are responsible for your own actions and involvement.
- All members must conduct a personal risk assessment before playing and ensure that the courts are safe for use. Any members playing when the courts are considered unsafe do so at their own risk.
- Players selected for teams are required to pay a match fee which will be collected by the team captain.
- Non-members (i.e. guests) are permitted a trial period of a maximum of 2 occasions with a member. Membership is required if they wish to continue enjoying use of the club facilities.
- These Terms and Conditions can change at any time and members should check the website for the latest version. Hard copies are available on demand.
- Any damage to the courts or any property belonging to Winchcombe School must be reported immediately to the Club at winchcombetennis@gmail.com or directly to the School.
- Members agree to be personally responsible for any damage caused to the courts or to any part of the School. Adults in charge of Juniors (under 18) are responsible for damage or the actions of their registered juniors.

- Members must follow instruction given by School staff or by Club officials.
- No pets other than guide dogs may be brought onto the courts or school grounds.
- Use of the School car park and facilities is at Members and Guests own risk.
