Booking Help For Parents

The Lawn Tennis Association is the governing body for tennis in the UK and they run our Clubspark website platform so initially you have to register for free as the parent with the LTA on their website - lta.org.uk (see the steps below).

 

Then you need to go back to our Clubspark website – amherstcoaching.co.uk Junior Coaching page to actually book the course for your child.

 

Joining Amherst Tennis Club as a junior member is a completely separate thing from joining the LTA. Joining Amherst LTC will give your child the opportunity to play at the club year-round and get discounts on coaching sessions. Amherst Tennis Club has its own Clubspark website – amherstltc.co.uk where you can join from the membership page.

Steps to book in a junior player for the first time on Clubspark

 

  1. From our Junior Coaching page at amherstcoaching.co.uk, click on the Book Here link for the course you want to enrol your child on – this will bring up an option to register with the LTA.

  2. Click on 'Haven't created an account – Click here'.

  3. This will take you to the LTA main site to set up a free LTA Advantage account as the parent (don't worry too much about any questionnaires that pop up as they are more for players and fans than for parents).

  4. Fill in your name and date of birth (not your child's name).

  5. You'll get a verification e-mail link – click on this and your registration with the LTA is complete.

  6. Go back to amherstcoaching.co.uk Junior Coaching page – find the course you want and click on the booking link again and log in with your new LTA registration details.

  7. You'll see your name on the booking page with some options to choose.

  8. Under your name, if your child has joined Amherst Tennis Club as a junior member, then click on 'Switch to member' for the discounted member price – the default is Non-member.

  9. Click on 'Add Player' and fill in all your child's name and details - click on confirm.

  10. Click on your child's name to book them on to the course.

  11. Tick Terms and Conditions and then checkout with your card details as normal.

  12. You're now booked in and the system will remember your child the next time you log in to book for them.
