How to find us
Bamford Lawn Tennis Club
Opp. Recreation Ground
We’re a small, friendly club with four outdoor courts in the Peak District’s beautiful Hope Valley.
Like everything, things at the club have had to change a bit with the coronavirus pandemic. But… we are still allowed to play, and we are still welcoming new members!
The most important thing is that everyone follows the rules for restricted play. We get our guidance from the LTA, and will keep you updated on our coronavirus page.
You can see the range of memberships we are currently offering on our membership page.
Everyone needs to book a court before playing. This is an additional measure to keep us all safer by ensuring our grounds are never unnecessarily busy. You can do this on our booking page.
Coaching is also allowed, either in small groups or one-to-one. You can find out more on our coaching page.
The social tennis we can offer includes club social nights, league matches and tournaments. Find out more on our playing page.
For news updates, please see our Facebook page. (You do not have to be on Facebook to access this).
If you have any questions, please contact us.
And enjoy some tennis in the meantime!
The club is situated off Water Lane just south of the village of Bamford, Hope Valley. Water Lane is on the left off the A6013 that runs from Sickleholme Service Station to Bamford village. It's a small lane with Network 3D and Riverside Garage premises at the corner.
