How to find us
Bamford Lawn Tennis Club
Opp. Recreation Ground
We’re a small, friendly club with four outdoor courts in the Peak District’s beautiful Hope Valley.
Like everything, things at the club have had to change a bit with the coronavirus pandemic. All of our regular social tennis, tournaments and league matches are all currently suspended. But… we are still allowed to play, and we are still welcoming new members!
The most important thing is that everyone follows the rules for restricted play. These are likely to change as lockdown eases. We get our guidance from the LTA, and will keep you updated on our coronavirus page.
You can renew your annual membership or join with our new, lockdown community membership on our membership page.
Everyone needs to book a court before playing. This is an additional measure to keep us all safer by ensuring our grounds are never unnecessarily busy. You can do this on our booking page.
Coaching is also allowed, either in small groups or one-to-one. You can find out more on our coaching page.
We are organising a socially distanced tennis ladder. Find out more on our playing page.
If you have any questions, please contact us.
And enjoy some tennis in the meantime!
