Social Tennis
Beverley Park LTC offers social tennis opportunities on the following days:
- Thursday, 9:30-11:30am
- Friday, 9:30-11:30am
- Saturday, 1:00-3:00pm
All ages and abilities are welcome to come along and join in and give it a go and these social sessions happen throughout the year and are free for members.
Walking Tennis Social Hitting
Beverley Park LTC provides a weekly walking tennis social session. This is for players who are still adapting to the sport and are looking to meet new players on court.
This is the perfect place to start your journey if you're aiming to move into tennis and one bounce rules.
The session happens on the following day:
- Monday, 11:00am - 12:30pm
After the session, all players are encouraged to stay around for a refreshment and chat!
Match Practice
If you're wanting some more doubles action there is match practice for the ladies and men's teams on the following evenings:
- Ladies Match Practice - Monday, 6:00-8:00pm
- Mens Match Practice - Thursday, 6:30-8:00pm
The cost for match practice is free and only happens throughout the Summer period (April - September).
Social Tournaments
The clubs hosts several social tournaments throughout the year for all ages. Beverley Park LTC runs mixed adult social tournaments and family tennis competitions. To see when the next social tournament is happening visit our events page on our website by clicking here.
Tennis Box Leagues & Ladder Leagues
The club runs Tennis Box leagues and Ladder Leagues for junior and adult players. The tennis leagues are open for all abilities and ages. The club believes all social tennis and team players should play as much as possible!
Club Championships
Beverley Park LTC also run an annual club tournament for all members to participate in. Throughout finals day there is some fantastic adult and junior matches. The trophies will then be officially presented at the club's presentation evening.
Coast Tournament
We have excellent relationships with the other tennis clubs on the coast, Cullercoats Lawn Tennis Club and Collingwood Lawn Tennis Club. Once a year, the three clubs organise the Cost Tennis Tournament which is a social mixed doubles event.
