Current Group Coaching:

All current coaching activity is listed on the Coaching pages of the Club Website.

There is a tab for adults and one for juniors. These pages have the links needed to book onto the coaching. Members of BFTC get reduced rates – non-members can also attend so you are welcome to bring along any friends and family for coaching blocks.

Current Group sessions:

Adults: Weds eve mixed drills 7.30 – 9pm

Juniors: Saturday morning coaching 9 - 1:

4 different levels according to age / skills covering ages 6-17. Phil will be happy to have a chat about which group is best if you aren’t sure / have any questions

Individual and Informal Group Coaching

Phil also offers coaching for individuals or for small groups of people who may like to have tailored sessions. His current availability is shown below. It’s always worth a phone call as these timings do vary week to week!

Phil is also available on Saturday afternoons – but this would need to be after Saturday Social finishes at 5pm

New Coaching Planned

We are planning to offer the following coaching blocks in the near future if there is sufficient interest. Please contact Phil (phil@everyball.net or 07900 107953) If you are interested.

If you like the idea of the session but can’t make the time please also get in touch as we will potentially be able to run sessions at different times if there is sufficient demand

All sessions are open to members and non-members

Adults

Back to Tennis / Beginners: Monday 1-2

This is a session for anyone who wants to get into tennis or wants to get back into tennis after not playing for a while. Don’t worry about how good you might be – everyone is welcome. We will flex the content of the session to meet the requirements of the group. It will be a great way to get to know other people of a similar level and start to find people who you can then meet up with to knock a ball around with!

Intermediate Tennis: Wednesday 10-11.30

This is a session for people who have moved on from being a beginner and are now getting comfortable with the game. The content will vary depending on need but is likely to include skills improvement to strokes where needed plus doubles know how (tactics, positioning etc). The sessions are a great way to build confidence and allow an easy transition into joining in social tennis at the Club

Drop off Tennis: Monday 9-10

An hour for members or non-members to have some fresh air and exercise after school drop off / ahead of the rest of the day. Content will depend on the needs/ skills of the participants but if you feel that a bit of stress busting in friendly company with the potential for cake afterwards appeals then this might be the one for you!

We are working on plans for JUNIOR COMPETITIONS

Easter Monday:  April 10th Fun Mini Competition 9-10.30 (before adult American)
