Club Defibrillator (AED)
The Club has an automated external defibrillator (AED) on site.
It is located outside the clubhouse on the left of the clubhouse door. The access code is C159
An AED is a portable device that checks the heart rhythm and if needed, it can send an electric shock to the heart to try and restore a normal rhythm. It is simple to use and is designed to be adminstered without any training. A calming voice talks the user through every step and if the casualty has a heartbeat, the device will not work so there is no risk of shocking the patient.
