Our club is a Company Limited by Guarantee & registered at Companies House: Company number 03435525
This company is “not for profit”: Any moneys generated must only be used for maintaining the Club and its
assets. All paid up Club members are considered to be joint owners and each would be liable for a guarantee
of £1 if the Club were to become insolvent.
We have a small Board of Directors, elected annually by our members at the Club AGM. The job of the
Directors is to provide an extra layer of protection for the Club & its assets. Normally one board meeting is
held each year just before the Club AGM to approve the Financial Statements, to review the general well-
being of the Club, to support the Management Committee & occasionally offer advice should they see fit.
Currently we have 4 directors, all long-standing members of the Club.
