Northampton Lawn Tennis Club has one of the fastest growing tennis coaching programmes in the county.  The enthusiastic coaching team is run by Head Coach Simon Gallo, who took over the coaching programme at Easter 2012, and has not looked back since.  The former club juniors have seen a steady rise in numbers and junior activity at the club.

Holiday camps

We run holiday camps during the half terms, easter and summer holidays.  Throughout the week we teach the forehand, backhand, serve and volleys and finish the week with a fun tournament.  We incorporate the fundamentals of movement and racket skills into our sessions to help players develop the co-ordination and footwork needed to play effectively. The camps cater for all standards from beginners to experienced players and are coached by LTA qualified, licensed and DBS-checked coaches.

Our camps are split into three sections.

Tots Tennis Camp – 4-5 years

Mini Tennis Camp – 6-10 years

Junior Tennis Camp – 11-16 years

Adult coaching

Northampton Tennis Club offers individual lessons for adults priced between £15-£35 per hour.  We can provide quick fixes to your existing shots, teach new techniques or help you gain a tactical advantage.  Lessons can be arranged with any of our coaches and can be organised at your convenience.  An additional floodlight fee may apply depending on floodlight usage.  Individual lessons can be shared and can also be booked for sessions of 30, 60 or 90 minutes. Private lessons may involve the use of video analysis to help players understand the technical aspects.
