Terms and Conditions
Please see below for the Terms and Conditions for our family and junior memberships:
- Both the junior and family membership run for one year from the date you activate your online account.
- You can make one booking a day. If you have booked a slot under the max of 1 hour a day e.g. '30 minute' slot, you will not be able to make another booking for that day.
- All members are required to register through the ClubSpark system and book a court before playing.
- All bookings must be made via our online system or the ClubSpark Booker App up to 6 days in advance.
- Please ensure that you only book courts that you intend to use and cancel those that you can't use after booking, even if it is last minute to allow others the opportunity to book. Please note we do monitor no shows.
- Behave in a considerate way and respect others on court
- Regular no shows will result in a temporary suspension of membership without financial compensation.
- The duration of suspension will initially be two weeks. Repeat offences will increase the suspension to one month.
- Persistent no shows could result in your membership being rescinded without financial compensation.
- The Council reserves the right to pre-book the courts for coaching, events and maintenance.
- The Council has the right to cancel bookings at their discretion. An email will be sent to the member notifying them.
- A family membership can be used by your whole household (up to 5 people) to access the tennis courts all year round to a maximum of 1 booking of 1 hour per day for a maximum of 5 days per week.
- A junior membership can be used by individuals under 16 for free and will enable young people to access the tennis courts all year round to a maximum of 1 booking of 1 hour per day for a maximum of 5 days per week. This includes juniors playing with an adult but does not include two adults playing together.
- Each household can have a maximum of 1 family membership and 2 junior memberships.
- You will receive an email notification in advance of your renewal date, and you will need to cancel your Direct Debit if you do not wish to continue with your membership
- No refunds will be given on membership fees after one month of the membership being activated unless there are exceptional circumstances.
- Any disputes over membership should in the first instance be directed to sportsdevelopment@richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk.
- The courts should only be accessed during the parks opening and closing times the details of which can be found at Parks opening times - London Borough of Richmond upon Thames
Please note that Community Parks Tennis, Live Love Sport (TW tennis), Jeremy Hooton Tennis Coaching, Best Tennis and K5 tennis coaching are the only borough approved tennis providers allowed to operate on our sites. Your membership will be suspended if a member is found to be receiving or delivering coaching without Council permission.
