Forthcoming event -
Welsh Squash Masters Closed January 17-19th 2025
This event is held biannually at the club and we will welcome players from far and wide as well as many familiar faces.
(Closed means eligible to play for Wales and players are competing for positions to represent their country in the Home Internationals.)
All Masters players (035) are welcome to enter into the different age categories.
Entries close on Friday 3rd January
Even if you are not entering do come and watch some of the best Masters squash in Wales.
Finals on Sunday.
Our Club No 1- Dan Anderson will be defending his title as the current Welsh 035 champion. Good Luck to him and all club players in the event.
The squash courts have had a refurbishment - thanks to I Howarth and team for undertaking the work.
Please be aware that parking can be busy on the tournament weekend.
Additional busy weekends for parking are 11th Jan and 15th Feb when there are 2 major Athletics events taking place.
Tennis
Christmas Event - Super tennis good fun with apres tennis; - mulled wine and mince pies.
United Cup Event 4th Jan
Aimed at team players and based on the United Cup (singles and mixed)
10.00am - 1.00pm Sat 4th Jan

University Challenge matches
This is a series of doubles events against Swansea University
Men’s doubles Ladies Doubles and Mixed doubles.
Any members who would like more competitive matches please contact Ellinore who will pass on your details. to the captains. Max Tew (Mens) / Steph Nemeth (Ladies) / Math (Mixed)
Storm damage to the tennis courts is being followed up through quotes and insurance claims, hopefully we will be able to report soon on repair dates.

Squash -
Well done Archie Chatwin runner up in the Welsh Senior Closed B Event
Well done A team and F Team winning their leagues, with E and G teams coming second in their respective leagues.
The A team will now be aiming to win the Spring league and take the title for the 24/25 Season. Good Luck!
Congratulations to all captains and players. With a special mention to John Turner, a new member this season, who has steered the F and G teams to take the top spots in their first season back in the leagues.
