Volunteers as always

Here are some of the jobs that need willing helpers.

Please let any member of management know if you can spare some time to help around the club.

General -

Reminder for all playing members that tennis shoes should be cleaned on exit from clay courts to prevent loss of clay and distribution along paths and into clubhouse, changing rooms and showers.  Squash shoes should be for indoor use only,  be clean and non marking.  All squash players should change their shoes on entry to the squash courts.

Squash

The club championships were a resounding success this year and along with the Tennis club championships reflect the growing strength of the club.

Over 200 matches were played over 2 months in 13 events.

Trophies were upcycled, refurbished and thanks to Mark Presdee for making the bases of some of the ‘new’ club trophies.  Congratulations to our winners. Here's to an annual event.

Tennis

Players who played in Wrexham in ITF British Indoors, were Sue Mitchell, Jo Price, Tesni Metcalf and Jenny Burrows. Sue and Jenny each won a singles match, only to be beaten by strong opposition in the next round. Jo and Tesni won a doubles match. Well done ladies.

Welsh Squash Masters survey feedback

Squash Wales has shared its tournament feedback with us and it makes very positive reading for the club.
