Last year, the LTA teamed up with comedian and presenter Adam Hills to launch a video series raising awareness of the different disability tennis formats.
You may have already seen the first video in the series, which focused on wheelchair tennis - if not, you can catch up here.
Now, the latest instalment sees Adam take on Para Standing Tennis, joined by European and World Doubles Champions Matt Grover and Ross Cudmore. Watch the video here.
New to Para Standing Tennis? Here’s what you need to know:
- It’s designed for players with physical impairments, including limb differences, cerebral palsy, acquired brain injuries, or short stature.
- The rules are almost identical with no major modifications required.
- Players compete on a full-size court using standard rackets and tennis balls.
- Some player classifications allow up to two bounces.
- Whether you're a beginner or experienced player, there’s a place for everyone in para standing tennis.
