He has experience sitting on club committees, has performed the role of club match secretary and has undertaken several club team captaincies. Garry plays in the Bedfordshire leagues for Club Towers.

Fraser White, Finance Director

  • Fraser moved to Bedfordshire in 2010 having migrated north from London via Hertfordshire. He is a Chartered Accountant and works in the insurance industry.
  • As Finance Director Fraser is responsible for the County’s finances, drafting the annual budget, making sure that all payments are appropriate and in line with the County’s policies, and seeking to make a return on the County’s prudently-invested funds.
  • Fraser plays at Sharnbrook Tennis Club.

Claire Raddan, Competition Director

  • Claire moved to Bedfordshire in 2007 from London and previously Somerset and works as a lawyer in commercial real estate.
  • As Competition Director, Claire oversees county competitions, teams and leagues. Her role also includes ensuring that the county actively promotes and upholds safeguarding standards. This involves keeping policies, codes of conduct, and mandatory training up to date, as well as ensuring that DBS checks for relevant personnel remain current.

  • More information about Dave can be found under the Team Manager profile page in the County Teams tab.

John Kitchener, League Secretary

  • John moved to Bedfordshire from Kent in 1995, and shortly after that joined Flitwick & Ampthill Lawn Tennis Club, where he has been a member ever since. Table tennis had been a big part of his life up to that point, but he soon decided he was getting too old for that, so gave it up for the (slightly slower) bigger ball game.
  • John has long been a committee member at F & A LTC, and some time prior to 2008 (he can’t remember exactly when), he volunteered to be Secretary of the County League, which role he still fills, supported by a small sub-committee. Following his retirement from International Banking in 2017, he has also been Treasurer at F & A LTC.
  • John has played for Bedfordshire at various age groups, from 45’s upwards (he now qualifies for the over 65’s), and continues to play for his club in men's, mixed and vets events in two leagues. It’s fair to say tennis keeps him busy!
