David Revell – Bedfordshire Tennis County Team Manager 

David Revell has been a key figure in Bedfordshire Tennis for many years, and his involvement grew even further when he was appointed County Team Manager in October 2022. Since then, he has been dedicated to developing more players and strengthening the county's performance and competition scene by engaging clubs and coaches.

An East Londoner, David started playing tennis in local parks with his Dad before joining a club and getting involved with Essex County Tennis. After university, he trained at Stonebridge Tennis Academy in Surrey and became a Level 4 Club Coach, coaching extensively across East London and Essex. He also worked as a travelling coach on the Satellite (now Futures) tour.

David’s coaching journey took him to Brisbane, Australia, before he returned to the UK to take on leadership roles, including Director of Tennis for the Luton Community Tennis Partnership and LTA County Development Officer. For the past 20 years, he has played a crucial role in North Bedfordshire’s tennis community, coaching in clubs and schools.

Beds Tennis is thrilled to have David on the team and greatly values his experience and passion for the sport.
