I’m sure, like us, you are busy planning the year ahead and we’ll soon be able to share the dates of all of our County Championships with you. The Cheshire 50 & Over Mixed Doubles County Championships 2026 took place on Saturday at Bidston, so we have our first County Champions – congratulations Steven Pownall and Sarah Marshall.

 

The Cheshire Senior & Super Senior County Championships 2026 are now open for entry! I enclose a poster for you to display and promote on your social media platforms and send to your members. The play is split over 2 weekends and the details are:-

Even numbers (40s, 50s etc) - Bidston Sports and Activities Centre - 7th-8th March from 9am

Odd numbers (35s, 45s etc) - David Lloyd Cheadle - 21st-22nd March from 12pm

 

Please note that this is the first year that the 35s County Champs will be incorporated into this larger event and a separate event will no longer be held in May. The 35 and Over Mixed County Championships will still be in September though.
