Welcome to our biggest Junior Summer Tournament yet!
With more events, more players, and more opportunities to compete, we’re excited to offer a fun and structured competition for all ages and levels.

The events will be run by the coaching team at Ace Coaching.

Who Can Enter?

All events are open to every junior or mini member of Cheam Tennis Club.

However, we recommend that players have some match experience before entering. For example:

• Attending internal matchplay sessions at the club

This helps ensure players feel confident, prepared, and able to enjoy the competition.

If you’re unsure whether your child is ready, please speak to one of our coaches—we’re happy to advise.

Tournament Events & Finals

Please find below all the different age groups that we are running this year!

Before entering, please make sure that your child has an active LTA account. If your child doesn't have an account yet, then please create the account for the junior player here: https://www2.lta.org.uk/advantage/

Finals Day Events (Fixed Dates)

These events take place on a single day, with all matches played in a festival-style format:

• 9U Orange Ball – Sunday 7th June (1:30pm–5:00pm) - ENTER HERE
• 10U Green Ball – Sunday 7th June (1:30pm–5:00pm) - ENTER HERE
• 12U Boys & Girls – Sunday 28th June (5:00pm–7:30pm) - ENTER HERE
• 8U Red Ball – September 2026 (date TBC)

Knockout Competitions

• 14U Boys Singles
• 14U Girls Singles
• 18U Boys Singles
• 18U Girls Singles
• 18U Boys Doubles
• 18U Girls Doubles

These events run as knockout tournaments from May to July. Once the draw is released, players will arrange matches themselves with their opponents. Matches must be completed by the specified round deadlines. This format gives families more flexibility to schedule matches at convenient times.

Top Tips for the Spectators

• Parents, guardians, friends, and family are welcome to watch the games
• Please clap, encourage, and support both players
• Parents are not there to keep score or call balls out. The juniors are now old enough to score themselves!
• The kids will make mistakes. Whether that’s forgetting the scoreline or missing a ball. It’s all part of their tennis journey!
• No shouting or coaching on the sidelines. At Cheam Tennis Club, we let the juniors enjoy the games without intervention

Final Note

This tournament is about fun, development, and friendly competition.
We’re looking forward to seeing lots of our juniors out on court this summer!
