How do I book a court?
From the Club's website click on court BOOKING tab above. We use the "Clubspark" system. To book a court you will need to be registered on "ClubSpark". If you haven't already registered you will be asked to register at this point.
In BOOKING, once you log in, the following screen will appear.
Please note
- You are able to view the booking sheet by court or by date.
- You may need to scroll right to see all the courts and the ball machine availability
Click on the start time of your desired booking slot and the following overlay will appear:
Click on the dropdown to select how long you would like the court booking to be.
Once the booking duration has been selected and any participants or guests added then you can proceed with clicking on the 'Continue Booking'at the bottom of the overlay.
You will be taken to the booking confirmation page, which will give details of the booking. There are no charges for members for courts.
Once you have confirmed your booking then a confirmation page message will appear and you will also be sent a confirmation email.
Why is my court confirmation being denied?
There is a limit to the amound of bookings a user can make a day and if you reach that limit, you will see the message below:
If you continue to have problems booking a court and none of the above help and you are a current member of the club then email support@clubspark.co.uk who run our system.
Why am I getting Access Denied to booking a court?
1. Are you a current member?
All memberships expire on 31 March each year and if you haven't renewed then you won't be able to book courts.
2. Are you logging on correctly?
You must always register via the LTA to access clubspark.
3. When and how much are you trying to book for?
Have you tried to book more than 7 days in advance as that is the maximum a member is allowed to book ahead or have you tried to book more than the current rules allow.
4. What device are you booking with?
You might be having problems booking from a mobile phone. Clubspark advises using the booker App - what devices does the clubspark booker app work on? as this is currently easier to find and make court bookings or using a desktop. Clubspark say they are working towards improving booking via a mobile phone.
Can junior members book a court?
No, a parent or guardian will need to book the court for juniors.
Parents / Guardians can book a court using their child's membership in a few easy steps:
● Make sure all previous ClubSpark sessions are closed down, then log in with the initial registration details when the membership was first set up so you are signing in as the parent/guardian.
● Click on your name in the top right-hand corner, and you will be able to change the user to your child
● You will then be able to book on behalf of the child. Please note:If the parent/guardian hasn't changed users to the child and is not a member themselves, they will see an 'access denied' message preventing them from booking as they are not the member.
Can I play with a non member?
You may invite guests to the club now. Here is what to do. All guests must be added to your booking at the initial time of booking a court. The cost is £5 per hour and is payable through our booking site. Once you have put in your name to book the court, it shows your name and then +Add participant in red underneath. Add in the name(s) of your guests and it will automatically work out the fee depending on the time you have booked the court for and how many guests you have. If you wish to add a guest after you have booked the court, you can either cancel the court and rebook it straight away adding their name(s) or you will need to send the fee to our membership club account referencing guest fees. Our bank details are Cocks and Hens, Metro Bank, Sort code: 23-05-80, Account number: 53161456;
Can I use the floodlights?
Yes but you will need to turn off the lights on your court when you vacate it if no one is waiting to go on, otherwise the lights automatically come on the following morning and waste electricity. The switches are on the wall opposite the office.
See ABOUT/Housekeeping for details
